Choralis IT open event - 2nd July

Choralis IT has been open a very short time but it is increasingly doing well, existing clients have come to us with requirements and when they do we show them our gratitude.
We are celebrating the fact that our IT division has been set up successfully with a launch event at the Oakley Court hotel; it is picturesque and historic hotel which starred in the hammer house of horror movies and among others, Dracula.
We kick start the evening with champagne on the lawns by the river Thames and proceed through to guest speakers Ashley Carter (IT Transformation Director, Grant Thornton) and Dick Best (former England rugby team coach). After we have been impressed and amused by the 2 guest speakers we have the Queen Elizabeth Foundation hosting a charity raffle and Laithewaites wines hosting a wine tasting. Excellent networking opportunity for all those who attend.
We hope to have around 100 guests including CEO's, CTO's, CFO's FD's and HR Directors among others.
The event kicks off at 6pm on the 2nd July at Oakley Court hotel, this event is via invitation only and if you are interested please enquire.
Sailing Challenge

On the 5th June 2008 six adventurous Finance Directors boldly donned their foul weather gear and set off into the Solent on the Choralis Challenge Sailing event. Part of an 18 boat sailing race, the day started off at Port Solent for a de briefing on the days activities. Following several bacon rolls and coffees the team set off to find their boats with their skipper Mike.
A full days sailing ensued with lunch on board and a corporate race back to home base. The novices ie The Choralis team valiantly ended up a respectable 9th .
A wonderful day, challenging hard work in places, this was a working crew and most of us had absolutely no sailing experience at all.
Many thanks to our skipper Mike, who must have thought he'd pulled the short straw with such a novice team, but with a lot of effort, team work and enthusiasm a very good placing was achieved.

It's that time of year again...Windsor Race nights

As every Summer, Choralis are well into the swing of attending Windsor Races on a Monday evening.
So far we have attended numerous races nights with both Client & Candidates joining us. These evening have been a great success with even a few winning bets! It's a great way of networking with both Clients and Candidates on a lazy Summer's evening.
